Paparazzi Accessories

Hello and happy Fall!!! Today's post is going to be a little bit different than most as this is for my good friend Laura who is a jewelry consultant for Paparazzi! She and I were co-workers back when I was still managing the jewelry counter at a department store - and even now - we're still great friends who chat on Facebook, lol!

I own 2 of the left one in different colors (it is my absolute favorite) - shown here in red. The right medallion, I wore to HTTD (see post here).

Now, I'll be honest, I'm not so much of a costume jewelry kind of girl simply because I find they are so, so expensive and usually for the same price I can find something I like in real sterling silver. (Being in the jewelry business has really shown me the true value between cost and retail value...) So I always stuck with fine jewelry, which can end up being very pricey and while I don't regret every piece I've spent money on, I do wish I had found pieces for more reasonable prices, simply because jewelry is just one of those things that most of it, is trendy and will go out of style. I can't tell you how many pieces I have that haven't seen daylight in God knows how long.

So when she started her facebook group Northern Shimmer & Shine VIP, I was so excited! I have never heard of Paparazzi before and I was surprised that everything only retails for $5 USD. And they actually have some really cute pieces!

They have earrings, necklaces, rings, bracelets, even headbands! And because Laura is currently in Alaska there's no added tax! And shipping is only up to $5 USD for 12 items or more (if you order less, you pay less for shipping). How much better can it get? - Even better because all of their pieces are 100% lead and nickel free - perfect for anyone who has sensitive ears! And this was actually the biggest problem that I ran into when selling jewelry at the department store... Even the nice - expensive jewelry caused problems for people who had sensitive ears or allergies to certain metals.

So my other issue when buying costume jewelry - for me at least - was the sizing. I have pretty small hands, therefore my wrists are small and my fingers are pretty thin as well. I typically wear a size 6 3/4 for bracelets in fine jewelry and a size 5-5.5 on my ring fingers. So I when I purchased my first bracelet from her back earlier this year I asked her to measure it for me and to my surprise (again, lol) - it adjusted to my specific size!

The only thing I can say about her brand is that the items they sell are very, very limited. The company typically only send their consultants one or two (if you're lucky) of any given piece -  it is kind of nice that no one else will be wearing the same jewelry pieces as you but it can also become a little bit of a competition between you and anybody else trying to buy something. Sometimes they do restock or they have it in different colors - so you have to keep an eyeball out!

Paparazzi makes it so easy and affordable to shop for costume jewelry - I can't walk into Claire's or Charming Charlie's for their jewelry anymore without cringing at their some of their price tags. I'll admit though, Charming Charlie has some really cute scarfs!

Anyways, if you're looking for an incredible deal on super cute jewelry or if you need bridal shower gifts, co-worker gifts, stocking stuffers, etc... I highly, highly recommend checking out Laura's Facebook group or her direct site! Though, if I were you, I'd join her Facebook VIP group (linked) because she's always holding little contests or giveaways from which you can either win free jewelry pieces or free shipping! Laura is such a sweet and incredible woman with amazing customer service skills. She will take care of you, I promise.

Thanks again following along with me. Let me know in the comments if any of you decided to order anything! I'd love to know what you got! - Kaylee 💋
